Իտալիայի ֆուտբոլի ֆեդերացիայի դատախազությունը փաստաթղթեր է խնդրել Սուարեսի՝ իտալերենի մտացածին քննությունը հետաքննելու համար, որը սեպտեմբերին հանձնել էր իսպանական «Բարսելոնայի» ուրուգվայցի ֆուտբոլիստ Լուիս Սուարեսը, հայտնում են տեղական լրատվամիջոցները:
Ավելի վաղ խախտումներ էին հայտնաբերել Սուարեսի կողմից Իտալիայի քաղաքացիություն ստանալու գործընթացում: Աշխատակիցները փաստաթղթեր են առգրավել Պերուջայի համալսարանում, որտեղ իբր հարձակվողը սեպտեմբերի սկզբին քննություն է հանձնել իտալերենով: Ենթադրվում է, որ ֆուտբոլիստը պատրաստվում էր տեղափոխվել իտալական «Յուվենտուս» և իտալական անձնագրի շնորհիվ գուցե զբաղեցներ ակումբի այն անդամներից մեկի տեղը, որը նախատեսված էր ԵՄ ֆուտբոլիստների համար: Քննությամբ պարզվել է, որ քննության թեմաները նախապես համաձայնեցված էին թեկնածուի հետ, և որ նրա գնահատականը նշանակվել է նույնիսկ նրա՝ քննություն հանձնելուց առաջ:
