Արցախի Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի աշխատակազմի կողմից ճշտված տեղեկություններով հոկտեմբերի 17-ին Ադրբեջանի կողմից Մարտունի քաղաքի հրթիռակոծության հետևանքով սպանվել է 65-ամյա Վլադիմիր Միրզոյանը, իսկ 42-ամյա Գևորգ Վարդանյանը ստացել է մարմնական վնասվածքներ: Այս մասին հրապարակում է արվել Արտակ Բեգլարյանի ֆեյսբուքյան Հիշեցնենք, որ սեպտեմբերի 27-ին Ադրբեջանի զինուժը լայնածավալ հարձակում է սկսել Արցախում՝ թիրախավորելով նաև խաղաղ բնակչությանը։
Ավելի վաղ NEWS.am-ը հայտնել էր, որ հոկտեմբերի 17-ի դրությամբ Արցախի զինուժը խոցել է հակառակորդի՝ 16 ուղղաթիռ, 22 ինքնաթիռ, 195 անօդաչու թռչող սարք, 566 միավոր զրահատեխնիկա, հիմնականում տանկեր, 86 ավտոտրանսպորտ, 10 զրահափոխադրիչ, 4 «ՏՕՍ-1Ա» ծանր հրանետային համակարգ, 4 «Սմերչ» եւ 1 «Ուրագան» տիպի համազարկային կրակի ռեակտիվ կայանքներ:
