Արդեն տեւական ժամանակ է տեղեկություններ են շրջանառվում այն մասին, որ հայրենի իշխանությունները նպատակ ունեն առաջիկայում օրենքի նախագիծ ներկայացնել, որով կարգելեն Ազգային անվտանգության ծառայության նախկին տնօրերներին զղաբվել քաղաքականությամբ:
Ըստ շրջանառվող տեղեկությունների՝ իշխանություններին անհանգստացնում է այն, որ վերջին տարիներին այն ԱԱԾ տնօերնները, որոնք ազատվել են աշխատանքից, սկսել են ակտիվ քաղաքականությամբ զբաղվել:
ArmLur.am-ը փորձել է ԱԱԾ նախկին տնօերն, «Հայրենիք» կուսակցության առաջնորդ Արթուր Վանեցյանից պարզել, թե ինչ կարծիք ունի այդ ամենի մասին: «Ես կարծում եմ, որ դա նպատակային է իրականացվում: Նպատակային նման օրենք են ուզում ներկայացնել, որը միտված է կոնկրետ ինձ սահմանափակելուն, որպեսզի քաղաքականությամբ զբաղվեմ, բայց օրենքը չի կարող հետադարձ ուժ ունենալ ու նման օրենք նախաձեռնելը սխալ է: ԱԱԾ աշխատակիցը քաղաքացի է, որը օգտվում է մարդու բոլոր իրավունքներից: Իսկ մարդուն սահմանափակել այս կամ այն գործունեությամբ զբաղվելու, դա մարդու իրավունքների ոտնահարում է, որը անթույլատրելի եմ համարում»:
Փորձեցինք այս հարցերի շուրջ զրուցել նաեւ ԱԱԾ նախկին տնօրեն Միքայել Համբարձումյանի եւ Դավիթ Շահնազարյանի հետ, սակայն վերջիններս կտրականապես հրաժարվեցին մեր հարցերին պատասխանել:
