The 5G launch marks a significant milestone in Ucom's regional infrastructure modernization program, designed to offer faster speeds and a more reliable connection to subscribers.

5G technology enables quicker and more efficient data transmission, improving the digital experience for users.

"The launch of the 5G network is a major step toward a new digital reality at the heart of our company’s vision. Our aim is to deliver the best digital experience with even faster internet and increased capacity for handling larger data volumes. We understand that 5G is more than just fast internet – it is a crucial driver that will unlock new opportunities for innovation and economic growth in Armenia," said General Director of Ucom, Ralph Yirikian.

The new high-speed network is accessible to all subscribers of prepaid, postpaid, and corporate mobile plans (excluding mobile internet-only plans) with 5G-compatible smartphones running Android or iOS. Ucom is also actively collaborating with Samsung to enable 5G access on Samsung smartphones.

Ucom plans to expand its 5G coverage and will provide regular updates on new projects, making this advanced connection available to a broader audience. More information about the new generation network is available on the company’s official website.
