Ucom’s Fixed Network Now Available in Yeghvard

Ucom announces the successful launch of its high-speed fixed network in Yeghvard, a city in Kotayk Marz.

This marks a significant step in the company’s fixed network expansion program. Residents of Yeghvard can now access Ucom’s fixed internet, mobile services, and television, all bundled together at a more affordable price.

To celebrate the fixed network launch, Ucom has planned a special promotion for the city residents, valid through May 31. Specifically, those subscribing to the Unity 7000, discounted Unity 8000 package for 12 months will receive the package free for the first three months.

Following tradition, upon entering a new regional city, the company offers free access to its connectivity in a public space. This time, outdoor internet with the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology, provided by Ucom, will be available in Yeghvard’s park.

“Our dream is to ensure that all residents of Armenia have access to quality and reliable communication services, and we’re doing everything possible to make that dream a reality. Today, I’m very proud to launch our fixed network in Yeghvard, and I’m confident that our subscribers will appreciate the modern, high-quality services and the new digital experience,” said Ralph Yirikian, General Director of Ucom.

In connection with the fixed network launch, the first subscriber, Hasmik Zakaryan, was awarded a certificate for free use of the Unity 20,000 package for 6 months.

Note, that last year 5G network was launched in Yeghvard providing faster and seamless mobile connection.

Additionally, in 2024, Ucom’s fixed network has been successfully launched in Ashtarak, Artashat, Byureghavan, and Nor Hachn.
