Idram Junior Donated Books to Schools
Idram, prioritizing not only financial literacy but education as a whole, has partnered with the "Zartnir" Educational NGO. This organization supplies schools across Armenia with collections of fiction books.
Recently, representatives from "Zartnir" and Idram visited Yerevan Primary School No. 168, one of six schools that received fiction books funded by Idram.
According to Mane Gasparyan, the Social Responsibility Programs Manager at Idram, the company places great value on this collaboration: "Interacting with physical books creates a completely different cultural experience. For us, it is crucial to nurture a literate generation, and we are confident that this initiative will contribute to fostering a more well-read and developed youth. Additionally, considering that Idram Junior was created to enhance children's financial literacy, we are here at the school today to introduce the app and guide students on essential knowledge for staying safe in the financial world."
It is worth noting that the "Zartnir" Educational NGO implements this program across Armenia, with a particular focus on providing high-quality literature to schools in regional areas.
According to Lilit Poghosyan, Operations Director of the organization, several key objectives were successfully achieved through their collaboration with Idram: "It is crucial to keep children engaged with the culture of reading, providing them access to quality literature that fosters critical thinking and improves their reading skills. In parallel, our cooperation with Idram has allowed us to support children in gaining financial education. Using QR codes, children can download the Idram Junior app, which not only teaches them how to manage money wisely but also contributes to enhancing the overall quality of their education."
Tevos Sargsyan, a participant in the program and now a volunteer at the "Zartnir" Educational NGO, shared his thoughts and praised the collaboration between the NGO and Idram: “We have introduced some very interesting literature to the school, and I am especially pleased that these books include QR codes. Thanks to these, children can explore Idram Junior and enhance their financial literacy.”
By the way, the app also includes Junius, a financial education game designed for schoolchildren.
At the project's closing event, Idram employees engaged with students in an on-site discussion about financial literacy and the importance of saving.
