Unibank’s perpetual bonds have been listed on the Armenia Securities Exchange
Unibank’s perpetual bonds have been listed on the Armenia Securities Exchange, allowing for manual and REPO trading. The bank issued three tranches with a total volume of AMD 6.5 billion and USD 9 million.
The coupon rate of the AMD-denominated issuances for the first three years is 13.75%, after which it will be calculated based on the yield curve of government bonds. The rate of the USD-denominated bonds is 8.3%, and after the first three years, it will be calculated based on the SOFR rate.
Unibank was the first in Armenia to issue perpetual bonds. The launch of this new instrument was a significant event for the Armenian securities market. Perpetual bonds provide an opportunity to receive regular income over the long term. Notably, the entire volume of the bonds was placed within a few days, which once again confirms the attractiveness of the offer and the high level of investor confidence in Unibank.
