2% Cashback on Payments Made with AraratBank Arca Cards
Customers making cashless purchases with AraratBank Arca cards will receive a 2% cashback on the previous month’s cashless transactions starting February.
The initiative applies to transactions made from January 1st through December 31st of this year, inclusive. The cashback will be credited to beneficiaries’ accounts by the 25th day of the month following the reporting month. Where a beneficiary uses more than one Arca payment card for transactions, the cashback will be transferred to the bank account associated with the most recent transaction qualifying for cashback.
Certain limitations apply. Cashback is calculated on payments exceeding AMD 1,000. The maximum cashback per transaction is capped at AMD 6,000, while the monthly cashback limit per person is set at AMD 60,000.
Cashback will not be accrued for the following types of transactions:
- Payments for information, telecommunication, and utility services,
- Payments to the RA state and municipal budgets,
- Transactions made at high-risk merchant categories, including dating websites and platforms, gambling establishments and gaming services, cryptocurrency exchanges, crypto wallets, and other crypto-related services,
- Any fees and transactions charged by financial institutions for services,
- Transactions made using Arca gift cards and single-use cards.
As a reminder, the program is implemented through the cooperation of Armenian Card CJSC (Arca) and the RA Government. It aims to promote the expansion of cashless transactions and foster the development of digital technologies.
