"Face to Face" with "The Power of One Dram"

"Face to Face: Dialogue of Generations" regional forum was held in cooperation with “The Power of One Dram”. On March 29, the Tashir House of Culture hosted the "Face to Face: Dialogue of Generations” regional forum. This year, the event was primarily sponsored by IDBank and Idram as part of their corporate social responsibility initiative, "The Power of One Dram."

The forum was initiated by the "Children of the Regions" socio-educational NGO, which aims to foster a decentralized community of patriotic, well-educated, and value-driven leaders dedicated to Armenia’s balanced development.

In her opening speech at the event, Tatevik Vardevanyan, Head of the Communication and CSR Programs Department at Idram and IDBank, highlighted the significance of initiatives that educate regional youth, cultivate leadership skills, and expand their horizons. She emphasized that such programs are a key priority for “The Power of One Dram”. "Idram and IDBank place great importance on regional development and creating new opportunities for young people because today, we have truly bright and promising youth who will shape our future," Vardevanyan stated.

According to Aramayis Margaryan, president of the socio-educational NGO “Children of the Regions”, initiatives like this can only come to life with the support of like-minded partners. "The Power of One Dram” played a crucial role in the success of the forum by providing support and resources. Through the dedication and involvement of our community and volunteers, we were able to bring this initiative to life on the ground, for which we are truly grateful," Margaryan stated.

In addition to their financial support, IDBank and Idram also contributed to the forum through an educational program. As part of this initiative, more than 150 young people from all regions of Armenia participated in online financial literacy seminars. The most active participants were recognized with symbolic gifts from Idram and IDBank. Furthermore, “The Power of One Dram” team took on a mentorship role, supporting one of the forum speakers, Svetlana Movsisyan from Artsakh, in preparing her speech.

The panel discussion, moderated by Ucom CEO Ralph Yirikyan, the second general partner of the forum, featured the top speakers from the previous year's MEM.

At the conclusion of the event, all young speakers who participated in the forum were awarded 50,000 AMD in Idcoins by Idram and IDBank.

It is worth noting that participation in this year’s forum was exclusively through tickets, each priced symbolically at just 1 dram. The organizers aimed to highlight the significance and impact of even a single dram when combined. After all, IDBank and Idram contribute one dram from their own funds for every transaction made, supporting “The Power of One Dram” initiative.

“Face to Face: Dialogue of Generations” regional forum concluded with a concert by the band “Lav Eli”.
