IDBank Joined the Banking Association for Central and Eastern Europe (BACEE): Official Membership Agreement Signed in Budapest
IDBank officially joined the Banking Association for Central and Eastern Europe (BACEE), marking a significant milestone in the Bank’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its international partnerships and regional presence.
The Membership Agreement was formally signed during an official ceremony held in Budapest, attended by Mr. Mher Abrahamyan, Chairman of the Management Board of IDBank, and senior representatives of BACEE. The event symbolized the beginning of a promising and mutually beneficial collaboration.
Founded in 1996, BACEE is a well-established regional professional organization that brings together financial institutions from the European Union, Central and Eastern Europe, the Western Balkans, and the Caucasus. Its mission is to promote cooperation among its members and support the sustainable development of the banking sector in the region.
Through this membership, IDBank gained access to a wide range of resources and opportunities, including participation in BACEE’s conferences, workshops, training programs, and development initiatives such as the Correspondent Banking Development Program.
Mr. Abrahamyan stated: “We are proud to have joined BACEE and are confident that this partnership will support IDBank’s strategic objectives, especially in building stronger international ties and contributing to regional financial growth and stability.”
Mr Istvan Lengyel, Secretary General of BACEE emphasized that “IDBank is an important player in the Armenian banking sector and by adding the bank to BACEE’s members, the Association further strengthens its geographical coverage and visibility. BACEE is pleased to offer its support to IDBank’s dynamic and stable development domestically and internationally”.
