20 million drams for Artsakh students, 10 million drams for a kindergarten for Artsakh children: IDBank
On September 5, IDBank and Idram solemnly celebrated the five-year anniversary of the companies' Corporate Social Responsibility program “The Power of One Dram.” During the event, the organizers also highlighted other CSR initiatives of the companies, among which the “Side by Side” program, launched in 2024 and aimed at supporting our compatriots forcibly displaced from Artsakh, stands out.
In her speech, Tatevik Vardevanyan, Head of the Communication and Social Responsibility Programs Department of IDBank and Idram, noted that the idea of the program was born immediately after the painful events of September 2023, with the first initiative being direct financial support to large displaced families.
Within the framework of the program, 150 children received social support in the amount of 40,000 drams for nine months. “In 2025, the program was already focused on empowering Artsakh women and educating children. With the financing of IDBank, 65 Artsakh women not only acquired new professions in the fields of manicure and sewing, but were also provided with the necessary tools and equipment to start working. During the same year, 100 Artsakh children participated in financial literacy courses funded by IDBank,” noted Tatevik Vardevanyan.
The upcoming initiatives of the “Side by Side” program were also presented, including a newly launched support project under which 100 Artsakh students will receive a monthly scholarship of 50,000 drams from IDBank for four months.
In addition, IDBank announced its participation in the Tufenkian Foundation’s program to build a settlement for Artsakh residents in the village of Svarants, Syunik region, by donating 10,000,000 AMD for the construction of a kindergarten in the new settlement.
