Presentation of Mark Aren’s “The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes” Book

A few days ago, the presentation of “The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes”, a book by one of the most in-demand contemporary writers, Mark Aren, took place.

Within the framework of the Yerevan International Book Festival, readers had the chance to meet the writer, Mark Aren (Karen Margaryan), who is also a member of the Council of IDBank.

The book belongs to the detective genre, yet it differs from Arthur Conan Doyle’s legendary character. During the presentation, Mark Aren revealed that he has created his own style for his books — adventure style. He explains: he does not write adventure fiction, but rather writes in an adventurous style.

Mark Aren’s first novel was “Requiem for Judas”, published in 2006, followed by “Where Wild Roses Bloom: An Anatolian Story”. His literary path began when he decided to move from science to the creative field.

During the meeting, the audience asked Mark Aren questions, discussing how stories are born, where to look for inspiration, and how the author manages to find precisely those stories that touch readers’ hearts.

“The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes” is already available in bookstores.
