5,092,062 AMD to the Bridge of Hope NGO. The beneficiary for September is the Moonq Technoschool
5,092,062 AMD – this is the amount raised within the framework of “The Power of One Dram” campaign for August, which will be transferred to the “Bridge of Hope” NGO. For more than three decades, the organization has been working to protect the rights of people with disabilities and to promote their social inclusion.
The beneficiary of September is the “Moonq” Technoschool, which was founded in Artsakh and now continues its mission in Armenia, providing children in different regions with access to modern technological education. The name of the new beneficiary was announced in unprecedentedly festive conditions during “The Power of One Dram is 5 Years Old” event.
Tatevik Vardevanyan, Head of the Communication and Social Responsibility Programs Department of IDBank and Idram, noted: “The choice of the beneficiary of September turned out to be coincidental, but also very symbolic. “The Power of One Dram” celebrated its anniversary in September, and when it became clear that the beneficiary of the month was “Moonq”, we decided to announce it during the event. We already have very effective cooperation experience with “Moonq”, including within the framework of our financial literacy campaign. We are confident that this new program, the goal of which is to provide professional education to the youth of Lori region, will deliver the best results in a very short time. Both “Moonq” and “The Power of One Dram” are about the power of unity, and about the belief that nothing is insurmountable when we combine our efforts,” concluded Tatevik Vardevanyan.
Ashot Avanesyan, Founding Director of the “Moonq” Technoschool, also emphasized the importance of this cooperation: “This support from “The Power of One Dram”, like the previous one, is received at an extremely important stage for us, and I must note that it was “The Power of One Dram” that was one of the first to reach out to us last year. Today, more than 200 young people are receiving education in the three “Moonq” branches operating in different regions of Armenia, and thanks to this new cooperation we will be able to start the new academic year and launch our “Specialization” stage for the first time. This will enable more than 70 young people from Lori region to receive professional education in their hometown. Such initiatives create strong technological education potential and new prospects for the entire region,” said Ashot Avanesyan.
We remind you that you don't need to do much to join the good works of "The Power of One Dram".
