AraratBank Joins ArcaQR

Fast, convenient and secure payments with QR codes are now available.

AraratBank is among the first banks to have joined ArcaQR. To make a payment with ArcaQR, scan the QR with AraratMobile and make an instant payment via all POS terminals of banks connected to the ArcaQR system.

On September 30, the event marking the official launch of the System, was attended by representatives of the RA Government, the Central Bank, payment and settlement systems, and Armenian banks, including AraratBank, headed by the Chairman of the Executive Board Mher Ananyan.

"I believe the addition of the ArcaQR payment tool is a major achievement for the overall system. The more accessible the programs of Arca national payment system are to customers, the more evident the stability and reliability of the system will be. I am pleased that AraratBank has joined this program and is supporting the establishment and development of the latter through its participation," noted Mher Ananyan, Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of AraratBank.

“ArcaQR is another step toward fostering the culture of cashless payments in Armenia. We are confident that QR payments will become part of everyday life – offering convenience to customers, a simple and affordable payment option to businesses, and improvement of mobile app engagement to partner banks” said Vardan Khachatryan, CEO of Armenian Card CJSC.
