Idram Announces Partnership with the World’s Leading Crypto Exchange Bybit in the Field of Innovative Payments
Armenia’s leading digital payment platform Idram and the world’s second-largest crypto exchange by trading volume, Bybit, have announced a new strategic partnership, highlighting Idram’s commitment to bringing innovative, cutting-edge technologies to Armenia and contributing to the development of the country’s payment ecosystem. As a result, Bybit Pay users will now be able to make Idram QR payments at more than 25,000 merchants in Armenia through their app when visiting the country. This means that Bybit’s more than 70 million users will have the opportunity to pay with Bybit Pay at Idram QR-enabled partner outlets across Armenia.
“This partnership demonstrates Idram’s commitment to innovation and strengthening global connections,” said Grigori Yolyan, Commercial director of Idram. “The integration of our QR system with Bybit Pay enables international visitors to make convenient and secure payments. At the same time, recognizing that the use of digital assets for payments is only now gaining momentum worldwide, this collaboration allows Bybit users to already make cashless payments in Armenia at more than 25,000 merchants in a simple and accessible way,” added Grigori Yolyan.
“Bybit is committed to removing barriers to real-world crypto utility through secure, compliant, and user-friendly payment technology. Launching Bybit Pay in Armenia with Idram’s expansive merchant network enables seamless access to everyday spending,” said Sophie Chen, Growth and Marketing Director of Bybit’s Payment Business Unit. “We remain focused on building deep, value-driven partnerships that deliver long-term benefits to local markets and empower users worldwide. Bybit and traditional fintech companies are allies. The expansion of Bybit Pay within Idram’s merchant network in Armenia is another step in our global growth journey, aimed at making crypto-friendliness more accessible for our community,” said Sophie Chen.
