Idram has been awarded the prestigious “Beyond Payments Awards” by Ant International
Armenia’s leading fintech company, Idram, has been honored with the “Beyond Payment Awards” by Ant International for its innovative solutions and technologically advanced approach in the field of payment services.
The award ceremony took place in Singapore within the framework of Ant International’s annual Voyage conference, attended by representatives of the world’s leading fintech companies. The awards were presented to organizations that transform payment solutions into tools for broader economic and social impact, promoting financial inclusion and a customer-centric experience.
“This award is an important recognition of our team’s work and the vision that guides us. Idram constantly strives to move beyond traditional payment boundaries by offering solutions that contribute to the country’s digital development and to creating a convenient financial experience both in Armenia and already beyond its borders. In July 2025, Idram and global giant Alipay announced a partnership that enabled Alipay’s 1.7 billion users to make payments in more than 25,000 points of sales in Armenia by scanning the Idram QR with their own app,” said Karen Nalbandyan, ID Group’s Director of Business Development, adding that Idram will not stop here and will announce further achievements very soon.
It should be noted that Idram is the first company in Armenia to have introduced a large-scale and fully integrated contactless QR payment system back in 2016, and today, thanks to Idram’s international collaborations, 1.8 billion users worldwide are able to make payments via Idram QR.
