New Education Platforms through Cooperation between AraratBank and Aren Mehrabyan Foundation
The cooperation between AraratBank and Aren Mehrabyan Charitable Foundation has been under way for two years, and already hundreds of young people have participated in digital skills development courses, committing themselves to building their careers in the aerospace, engineering, and IT sectors.
In 2025, with the financial support of AraratBank, Aren Mehrabyan Charitable Foundation initiated the creation of new platforms for promoting the development of education. The Foundation designed a modern and effective educational model that offers free, short-term technical courses providing professional training of in-demand specialists. This year alone, more than 350 beneficiaries have participated in the training courses, including young people residing in regions or displaced from Artsakh.
"Such goals cannot be attained on our own - we need like-minded people and reliable partners. AraratBank has been cooperating with the Foundation since 2024, supporting its significant social initiatives and facilitating the creation of new educational opportunities for young people. This cooperation has already produced noteworthy results: by participating in the courses, young people are able to specialize in a particular area to a level that would allow them to make meaningful progress," says Mher Mehrabyan, Founder and Director of Aren Mehrabyan Charitable Foundation.
Due to the ongoing efforts of Aren Mehrabyan Foundation and AraratBank, the 2025 list of courses has been supplemented with beginner and advanced stages of 3D modeling and web programming.
According to its beneficiaries, the Foundation provides them with sufficient applied knowledge to join the labor market and succeed in their industry. David Hovhannisyan, a student at the National Polytechnic University of Armenia, attends courses three times a week. In addition to his university education, he is studying web programming, as he aims to become a skilled programmer and create a lasting career in the IT sector.
Free educational programs also create opportunities for professional requalification of beneficiaries. An English language specialist, Hripsime Manukyan - a beneficiary of the Foundation - has chosen to expand her knowledge and understanding of programming, calling it a modern, interesting and thought-provoking profession. To her, it is important that the Foundation provides free, high quality education aimed at training specialists based on real requirements of the labor market.
The cooperation between AraratBank and Aren Mehrabyan Charitable Foundation continues, providing opportunities for young people to receive non-formal education and practical skills that enhance their employability.
Education lies at the heart of AraratBank corporate social responsibility strategy. The Bank strives to ensure the continuity of programs, emphasizing access to education for all children.
