Ucom General Director Ralph Yirikian Participated in the Impacture 2026 Conference
With the support of Ucom and the initiative of Mediamax media company, the Impacture 2026 conference dedicated to charity, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and impact investments was held in Yerevan.
The event brought together representatives of the business, public, and educational sectors to discuss the role and future of responsible business in Armenia.
The opening talk of the conference featured Ucom General Director Ralph Yirikian and Mediamax Director Ara Tadevosyan, who discussed the development of CSR culture in Armenia, the social role of businesses, and the importance of initiatives with long-term impact.
“Corporate social responsibility has never been merely charity or a series of separate initiatives for us. It is an essential part of Ucom’s value system and long-term strategy. We believe that modern businesses should not only develop technologies, but also invest in youth education, environmental protection, and the future of communities. Today, society expects businesses not only to provide services, but also to demonstrate responsibility and make a real impact. We believe that sustainable and strong companies are built when business growth goes hand in hand with creating lasting value,” said Ralph Yirikian, General Director of Ucom.
The conference also addressed the evolution of CSR, the differences between charity and systemic corporate social responsibility, as well as the importance of public-private cooperation. The second panel discussion focused on collaboration between business and culture, exploring modern approaches and partnership models for supporting cultural initiatives.
“We decided to bring together discussions on charity, corporate social responsibility, and impact investments on one platform because we believe these three areas should complement one another rather than compete for ‘legitimacy’,” said Ara Tadevosyan, Director of Mediamax.
