Financial Literacy Training for Young Chess Players: Idram & IDBank
Idram and IDBank continue their traditional series of financial and digital literacy training programs. This time, the training was held for students of the Arabkir Chess School.
Around 50 students participated in the session, gaining valuable knowledge about the financial world, personal money management, and protection against financial fraud.
Recently, the Yerevan Spring ID Cup tournament was also held at the same venue, with IDBank acting as the main sponsor. Following intense competition, in addition to the main prizes, the winners also received monetary rewards provided by IDBank.
Speaking about this initiative, Tatevik Vardevanyan, Head of Communications and CSR Department at IDBank and Idram, emphasized its importance and the positive impact it has on the students of the school: “Chess and financial literacy share many common features. Both are based on mathematical thinking, strategy, and the ability to plan several steps ahead. The students participated in the discussions with great interest and engagement and received answers to their questions. We are glad to contribute to society by increasing awareness in the financial sector.”
Idram and IDBank continue the initiative “Financially Literate with Idram and IDBank,” aiming to promote community development and increase financial and digital literacy among the population.
The companies are supervised by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia.
