BACEE International Conference Kicks Off with Converse Bank as Lead Sponsor

The Bank Pekao FI Day & 52nd BACEE International Banking Conference has kicked off in Warsaw, with Converse Bank serving as the event’s Lead Sponsor. 

Converse Bank is represented at the conference by Nelli Kocharyan, Director of Financial Institutions and International Relations Department, and Lusine Balanyan, Head of the Investor Relations Division. Both contributing to the conference programme as speakers. 

Nelli Kocharyan will participate in a panel discussion dedicated to BACEE’s 30th anniversary. In her remarks, she will share insights on the experience of cooperations developed through international professional platforms, particularly within the BACEE network, the opportunities such cooperation creates, and the potential for further strengthening and expanding partnership relations. 

Lusine Balanyan will deliver a presentation entitled “Rethinking Where Sustainable Finance Sits in the Bank.” Drawing on Converse Bank’s experience, she will discuss the factors that have contributed to the development of sustainable finance, approaches to designing financial products, and the importance of integrating sustainable finance across the Bank’s core business functions.

Held on 8–9 October, the conference brings together representatives of international financial institutions, senior executives of leading regional banks, and industry experts. Discussions focus on key trends shaping the banking sector, the importance of international cooperation, key aspects of sustainable finance and trade finance, risk management, digital transformation, and other topical issues affecting the industry.
