Earthquake recorded in Armenia’s Syunik region
An earthquake of 2.2 magnitude was registered in Armenia’s Syunik region on Saturday at about 12:15 (GMT 08:15), National Service for Seismic Protection reported, adding the geographical coordinates of the epicenter were northern latitude 39.30⁰ and eastern longitude 46.03⁰. The quake was recorded 8km south of Dastakert town. The epicenter of the earthquake was on the depth of 10 kilometers.
The earthquake was felt in Dastakert town of Syunik province with 2-3 points.
