Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine operates uninterruptedly
The Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine said in a statement that despite the situation they continued working normally during the week and continue doing so by maintaining safety precautions. All plants of the company continue working uninterruptedly.
An emergency situation headquarters is functioning in the company.
“All internal structures of the ZCMC are ready to take rapid and effective measures in accordance with standard operating procedures,” the company said.
On September 13, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces launched a major attack on Armenia from several directions, bombarding both military and civilian infrastructures with rocket-artillery and drone strikes.
Azerbaijan halted its attack in the evening of September 14 after a ceasefire was reached thanks to the involvement of the international community.
