Ucom roaming bundles can be activated through the Ucom mobile application
When embarking on a summer vacation, subscribers of Ucom's mobile voice service can easily activate a range of roaming bundles, including 300 MB, 1GB, 2GB, 3GB, and the biggest "Internet in Roaming 8GB" bundle, all through the updated Ucom mobile application, to share their summer memories with the close ones. By downloading the latest version of the Ucom mobile app from the App Store or Google Play, registering, and accessing the roaming section, users can select their destination country. Within this section, they can view the available tariffs provided by different operators in the selected country, as well as the volume and cost of “Internet in Roaming” bundles, which enables subscribers to choose the most affordable option in the destination country.
“Throughout the summer, Ucom mobile voice customers can benefit from the high-speed internet at the rate starting from 2.99 AMD when travelling to more than 65 European and popular coastal destinations, such as Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Spain, Montenegro, Egypt or Georgia, in case they activate the “Internet in Roaming” bundle via Ucom mobile application and connect to the respective operators’ network on the spot”, said Ralph Yirikian, Director General at Ucom.
Let us remind, that until August 31st, subscribers who do not activate any bundle will automatically benefit from a reduced roaming rate of 9 AMD/MB instead of the previous rate of 15 AMD/MB for internet when traveling to Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Spain, and Montenegro, and connecting to the respective operators. Additionally, the 9 AMD/MB rate remains applicable indefinitely when connecting to operators such as Orange in Egypt, Geocell/Magticom in Georgia, du in the UAE, and T-Mobile in the USA.
It is important to note that the roaming service must be activated before departure from Armenia via Ucom mobile application.
