Khachaturian International Youth Competition launched in China with performance by “Music for Future” Foundation’s Cellist Mari Hakobyan
On November 1, the 2024 Khachaturian International Youth Competition organized by the 'Aram Khachaturian' Cultural Foundation, launched at the renowned China National Opera House.
Young cellist Mari Hakobyan, a scholar of the 'Music for Future' Foundation, performed with the Symphony Orchestra of the China National Opera House at the opening ceremony of this prestigious competition, marking the beginning of this celebrated international competition.
The competition is held in the professional categories of 'violin,' 'cello,' and 'piano,' and features talented young musicians from around the world.
