5 symptoms of cervical cancer
Any cancer is much easier to treat if it is detected in the early stages, and cervical cancer is no exception.
Here are several symptoms that may indicate cervical cancer, as well as some other diseases:
'Abnormal' bleeding
Any bleeding outside of menstruation is considered abnormal, whether it is bleeding during or after sex or after menopause. If you notice blood, be sure to consult a doctor, even if nothing else bothers you.
Pain during sex
Pain during sex can be a symptom of a number of diseases, including cervical cancer. A healthy woman should not experience pain during sex, so if you are concerned about pain or discomfort, be sure to consult a doctor.
Unusual vaginal discharge
If the color, smell or consistency of vaginal discharge has changed, then consult a doctor. The reasons for such changes can be different - from infections to cancer.
Sudden weight loss
If you are losing weight then consult a specialist. Loss of appetite and inadvertent weight loss quite often may lead to cancer.
Low back pain
You can face low back pain for a variety of reasons - from physical exertion to cancer. If the pain is almost constant and lasts for a long time, it's time to be examined by a doctor.
