Scientists discover another beneficial property of avocado
Avocados may have anti-cancer properties, according to scientists at the University of Guelph, Canada.
According to scientists, avocado is rich in avocatin B, which inhibits the VLCAD enzyme, which is involved in the metabolism of leukemic cells. This nutrient is considered a non-toxic cancer treatment.
Experts intend to soon begin clinical trials in humans and find out how effective avocatin B is for the treatment of leukemia.
