No international support and no organization to take real steps to prevent decades of cultural, ethnic and religious hostility towards Armenians and their heritage. Anna Kostanyan
Two years have passed since I had a speech at the National Assembly of RA, where, addressing UNESCO, I presented undeniable facts of erasing the historical and cultural heritage of #Artsakh by Azerbaijan and its Armed Forces.
Two years later, we see no international support and no organization to take real steps to prevent decades of cultural, ethnic and religious hostility towards Armenians and their heritage, to prevent the anti-Armenian policy pursued at the highest state level by Azerbaijan. And now, Artsakh's centuries-old heritage is directly subject to destruction by Azerbaijani vandals.
Anyway, it's more than actual again to direct this message to UNESCO, at least to fix the facts of the vandalism made by Azerbaijan on the territory of Artsakh (the 13th-century Armenian Apostolic cathedral #Gandzasar is announced to be an "illegal structure" by Azerbaijan), later on, to follow up on the legal processes that Armenia must start.
